9:51 am	Happy Halloween Well nothing new to report. Got me a cisco ubr924 off of ebay :) I have been learning cisco lately, and im working on my ccna. 3:06 pm	Sick.. AGAIN Well once again I am sick. I get sick easily once a month and have to go to the doctors. Ya, I know I bitch about this all the time but I hate it :). Ive only been like this since I moved to New Mexico, I hate this stupid state. While home from work, I watched the move "Enemy at the Gates".. it was pretty good, I expected it to be better tho. On other news, ive been learning cisco stuff a lot lately. My boss gave me 2 cisco 2501 routers to setup a test lab, gave me a /27 block of IP's to play with :). So I put my server behind it and now im using the cisco lab to do my firewall filtering, etc.. rather than the server itself. Boring maybe, but its exciting for me :) Thats all.. 4:50 pm	Bored... A lil bored right now. I dont post to my journal enough. Tonight I am going to my brothers house to watch the Trinidad Fight. That should be pretty fun. 12:00 pm	Sad / Good day Well first thing is my friend got busted for something he says he didnt do. I belive him, he made the news and everything. The news made him out to be some nut job or something. Here is a clipping http://www.kobtv.com/archive/2001/september/19/tramwayswat.htm It says he baracaded himself in, which isnt true. I talked to him on the while the cops were outside. He told the detectives, can I call my GF so she can come pick up our son, then I will come out. I dont want him to get picked up by anyone else. So the cops say he refused and is baracaded in holding his son hostage or something. such bullshit. As soon as his GF gets there, he comes out peacefully. He is a very good friend of mine and I hope things work out for him. On a funny note, We opened up a parody site called AmITerroristOrNot.com Me and some friends put it together really quick. Its just a joke, and in no way meant to disrespect last weeks tragedy. Anyways, poke around and check it out. Current Mood: bored (Comment on this)

8:54 pm	bad feeling Ive had this bad feeling for about 2 days now. I dont know how to explain it its just a bad feelilng. Like an emptiness in my stomach, that gives me the chills. Im not sick or anything, just a feeling like something bad is gonna happen. Oh well, have to wait and see. Weird thing happened today. The ARMY called me to get me to re-up. They offered a bunch of stuff, but I am pretty sure they killed all chances of me joining again by their lack of compasion for a family situation I had when I was in AIT. 7:38 am	Sick.. :( Well once again I am sick. I never used to get sick this often, til I moved to New Mexico. Sounds retarded, but I blame the state :) In Cali I would never get sick this often. Anyways, got a doc's appointment this morning then im going to work (If I feel up to it). Ive been working on a very cool project (imho). I wont say what it is yet but im not sure what to do with it when its done (its nearly done). I wanna release it under the BSDL, but then again I think its something that may sell a few copies :) Knowing me, ill just release it to the public hehe. Well thats all for now. 11:14 am	Ho hummm Well nas wrote a lil script to show Code Red attempts and info on the host sending the requests. It was in perl and a little slow, cause it was reading the access.log every time. So we decided to make it go to a pgsql database. Easy enough, but loading it to the db from the access.log was a slow, painful and unresourcesfull task in perl ;) So I hacked up a lil C program to load it to the db. It works very well, nas- is happy. I told him he should release it but he doesnt find it to usefull. Although its a very impressive script. Blah, im just babbeling now.. I joined the columbia house dvd club, its actually not a bad deal. Should have 4 new dvd's here shortly! Thats all for now :) Current Mood: impatient (Comment on this)

12:33 pm	SimpleLJ 0.1 - Released Well here is yet another LJ client. Its written in C and is for the UNIX console. It supports multiple journals, and a few prop_ options (mood and music heh). I originally wrote it for my own personal use and to get some much needed coding practice. Another friend pushed me to release it, I mean.. What the hell right? Anyways, you can get it here. I appreciate any and all comments, suggestions, etc.. (Comment on this)

5:57 pm	Beat me to the punch I just noticed on lj_dev stesla released a console client in C. I have been working on one myself in C (posting from it now). Although I never really meant for mine to be a public release, I was still beaten to the punch. hehe, no biggie tho. I wrote mine for my personal use and I like it lots. I have yet to run stesla's client (having to hack it to get it to compile on FreeBSD) but I should get to it by morning ;). Anyways, its FRIDAY so its a good day. No work for 2 days, I likes it.
